Colorado's voluntary cleanup program (VCUP) for a major manufacturing
facility. The site has been used continuously since the late 1960s and past
operational practices resulted in the release of chlorinated solvents (principally
1,1,1-trichloroethane) to the subsurface. The remedy consisted of soil vapor extraction
coupled with depression of the water table. Migration of residual concentrations
in the saturated zone is controlled by a pump-and-treat system.
08/15/2004
- prepared a stormwater management plan (SWMP)
and stormwater permit application for a farming implement manufacturing
operation.
08/05/2004
